GRANT BROKENSHA
I began my life immersed in nature, somewhere between the South African Bush and its diverse coastline and this has reflected in my career. An underwater specialist with a vast amount of experience filming sharks, cetaceans and one of the early pioneers of filming crocs underwater. I did however want to expand my horizons and therefore delved more into the terrestrial space and subsequently spent years documenting iconic terrestrial species. I love experiencing new places & documenting often over looked species, but most importantly, I love a good story with strong visuals to create a powerful and immersive story! I have a vast amount of experience working with some of the globes top producers and have over 50 full length features under my belt, many as DP and Field Director. Various films that I have been involved in have been nominated and won awards around the world, including the Emmys, Jackson Hole and Wildscreen and I was awarded with 2017 South African Wildlife Cinematographer of the year. I enjoy working as part of a team & I believe that hard work and focus pays off. I work with a host of international producers & broadcasters including National Geographic, Netflix, Smithsonian, Icon films, Terra Mater Factual Studios, Earth Touch & Curiosity Stream to name but a few.
RYAN DALY

A drive to explore and document life underwater lead me to pursue my PhD in marine science. Exploring the coast and marine environments from South Africa, Mozambique, Hawaii to Seychelles has given me the opportunity to interact with, study and film a host of iconic marine life. My curiosity to understand the behaviour of animals has allowed me unique insight into their lives. I have specialised in animal-borne underwater camera systems that allow us to film one of a kind interactions and behaviour. I am always trying to be at the forefront of documenting and studying unique marine life interactions and behaviour. I have 20 years experience diving and I am a qualified and experienced skipper, commercial diver and underwater filmmaker.

JOLENE FILMER
Since my youth I have been inspired by the natural world. Being an explorer at heart, I have travelled to some of the most remote places on the planet. My adventurous spirit has taken me along the ancient pilgrim routes in Spain and to volunteering in rural Uganda and India. My love for creating beautiful documentaries and the stories is where I find my happy space. I have over 12 years’ experience working within television and film production. I thrive in setting up complicated shoots around the globe and making sure that it all comes together. I am a great multi-tasker, good with people, well networked and a dedicated team player with a cheerful demeanour. I have managed numerous natural history documentaries for Smithsonian Networks, National Geographic & other international broadcast channels. I love researching new locations, species & tech. I am a traveler at heart and get a thrill for setting up international shoots in foreign lands. I have setup complex shoots simultaneously in South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Seychelles, Botswana, Namibia, USA, UK, Malaysia, Australia, Mexico, Costa Rica, India, Zambia, Bahamas, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Argentina, Chile, Russia, Finland, Norway, Central Africa Republic & Gabon. From green light to final delivery, I am involved in the whole production process. When I am not busy with production, I assist with archive footage research & sales, film distributions, film festival submissions, development research and budgeting.
